Easter Proves It (#234)

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

Jesus Christ is the Son of God who paid the penalty for the sins of the world. When that penalty was fully paid, God raised Jesus from the dead. No other event in human history has so changed the world. Salvation was won for all who believe. It really happened. Easter proves it!

Easter proves that God keeps his promises.
We tell you the good news: What God promised our fathers he has fulfilled for us, their children, by raising up Jesus. Acts 13:32, 33

Easter proves that Jesus Christ was the Son of God.
...and who was declared with power to be the Son of God by his resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 1:4

Easter proves that God was satisfied with Christ’s payment for our sins.
Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, and so your faith and hope are in God. 1 Peter 1:21

Easter proves that we shall live after death.
By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also.
1 Corinthians 6:14

Easter proves that everyone will face judgment.
For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to all men by raising him from the dead. Acts 17:31

Easter proves whether you have true faith.
That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

The events celebrated at Easter changed the world.
