Foolishness (#118)

Bible version used: KJV

Price: $7.00

Tract Text:

It is foolishness
to think that there is a God.
No one ever saw him.

It is foolishness
to think that we are born bad.
A baby looks so innocent.

It is foolishness
to think we need to be saved.
We’ll get to heaven all right.

It is foolishness
to think one person could take
punishment for another.
It doesn’t seem fair.

It is foolishness
to think we shall live after death.
Death seems so final.

It is foolishness
to think God would worry about people
who would rather live without him.
He is too great.

BUT....

The Bible says:
For every house is builded by some man;
but he that built all things is God. (Heb. 3:4)

The Bible says:
Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin
did my mother conceive me. (Psalm 51:5)

The Bible says:
Except a man be born again, he cannot see
the kingdom of God. (John 3:3)

The Bible says:
For Christ also hath once suffered for sins,
the just for the unjust, that he might bring
us to God. (I Peter 3:18)

The Bible says:
There shall be a resurrection of the dead,
both of the just and unjust. (Acts 24:15)

The Bible says:
For God so loved the world, that he gave
his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth on him should not perish,
but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness: but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
Where is the wise? Hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumbling block, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
But unto them which are called, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men.
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him.
1 Corinthians 1:18, 20, 23, 24, 25; 2:14
For we ourselves were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived.
But after that the kindness and love of God our Savior toward man appeared.
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life,
Titus 3:3, 4. 5, 7
