JESUS Lived

God became man? A real human person born in Bethlehem? Jesus left his home in glory to be born in a stable, to be insulted and rejected in spite of doing nothing but good? Why?
To bring us back to our creator God.

Philippians 2:5-7 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form
of God, thought it not robbery to be equal
with God: But made himself of no reputation,
and took upon him the form of a servant,
and was made in the likeness of men.

2 Corinthians 8:9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through
his poverty might be rich.

JESUS Died

God became man, and died? The perfect person nailed to a cross like a common criminal? Why?
To pay for the sins of mankind.

Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for
our transgressions, he was bruised
for our iniquities: the chastisement
of our peace was upon him; and
with his stripes we are healed.

2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to
be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might
be made the righteousness of God in him.

JESUS Lives

He rose from the grave? He conquered death? And ascended to heaven? Why? To demonstrate victory over sin and death.

For 40 days after his resurrection Jesus showed himself repeatedly to his followers. He then returned to heaven with a promise that he will some day return, not as a suffering servant, but in glory. Today, Jesus sends his spirit to
help all who will follow him.

Acts 3:15 . . . and killed the Prince of life,
whom God hath raised from the dead;
whereof we are witnesses.

Hebrews 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

JESUS can change your life.

Mark 1:15 The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
