You don’t get through life by saying NO. You get through life by saying YES... to Jesus Christ.
I said yes to Jesus Christ and began to fill my life with HIS promises:
HE gave me the power to say no to drugs and other self-destructive behavior.
I can do everything through him who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13
HE gave me hope for the future.
We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him. Romans 8:28
HE gave me joy.
You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. Psalm 16:11
HE gave me purpose and meaning in life.
I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. John 10:10
HE gave me help in every trouble.
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. Isaiah 41:10
Pray this prayer if you are ready to say yes to Jesus:
Lord Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God who died and rose again so that those who believe can be made right with God. I am sorry for trying to live without you. Make me your child, care for me, and help me to follow you. Amen.
