JESUS LIVED!
JESUS DIED!
JESUS LIVES!
They are utterly amazing!
They are hard to believe!
They changed the world!
They can change your life!
JESUS LIVED?
God became man? A real human person born in Bethlehem? Jesus left His home in glory to be born in a stable, to be insulted and rejected in spite of doing nothing but good?
UTTERLY AMAZING!
Why did God do it? To bring us back to our Creator God against whom we had rebelled.
Christ Jesus, who, being in very nature God...made himself nothing...being made in human likeness... Philippians 2:5-7
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.
II Corinthians 8:9
JESUS DIED?
The Creator of life died? The perfect person nailed to a cross as a criminal? The Son of God suffered the pangs of hell by being forsaken by His Father?
UTTERLY AMAZING!
Why did God do it? We needed an infinite sacrifice to pay the penalty for our sins – and only God Himself could do it.
He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:5
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 11 Corinthians 5:21
JESUS LIVES?
Someone came back from the grave? Someone conquered death? And He is still here today?
UTTERLY AMAZING!
Why did God do it? To show His complete satisfaction with the work of Jesus in defeating Satan, the cause of all evil and death.
You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. Acts 3:15
This is the greatest news in the world! After forty days on earth to prove that He was alive, Jesus ascended into heaven. But by His Spirit, He is always with us. He helps us every day; He gives joy and peace; and He will come again to bring in an age of perfection.
Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. Hebrews 7:25
So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him. Hebrews 9:28
It’s hard to believe these great events. They changed the world. They can change your life and your future! Repent and believe the good news! Mark 1:15
If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
