Steps to a Joyful Christmas (#365)

1. RECEIVE THE GIFT OF JESUS.
To all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God. John 1:12
2. PUT JESUS IN THE CENTER OF YOUR HEART.
Jesus said: “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12
3. PUT JESUS IN THE CENTER OF YOUR LIFE.
Jesus said: “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:33

Christmas is a time to remember that Jesus came to earth to give his life as a ransom for us. He suffered and died for us. We think of Easter when we celebrate Christmas, because at Easter, Jesus rose from the dead and someday will return, not as a little child or a suffering servant, but as a conquering king. I pray that, for you, this will be a Christmas filled with the presence and power of the living Jesus.

You can put Jesus in the center of your life by repenting of your sins, accepting His sacrifice for you on the cross, and inviting Him into your heart. Don’t delay—do it today!
