Thanks for the Treat (#128)
Bible version used: KJV
Thanks for the Treat. I would not have tricked you anyway because I belong to Jesus, and Jesus told us that we should love other people just like He loved us.
This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. (John 15:12)
You see, Jesus loved me. He loved me so much that He died for me even before I knew about Him.
Yet the proof of God's amazing love is this: that it was while we were sinners that Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)
I'd like you to know Jesus too, because He is the best Friend a person can have. He is the only one who can bring you back to God and help you with your life.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6)
I don't think about death very much yet, but I know that when I die, I'll go to heaven.
But in the words of Scripture, 'Things beyond our seeing, things beyond our hearing, things beyond our imagining, all prepared by God for those who love him.' (1Corinthians 2:9)
But while I'm alive, I want to help others. It's more fun to help people than to hurt them.
I have shown you in all things that by working hard in this way we must help the weak, remembering the words that the Lord Jesus himself said, 'There is more happiness in giving that in receiving.' (Acts 20:35)
You would like being a Christian too.
Taste, then, and see that the Lord is good. Happy the man who finds refuge in Him! (Psalm 34:8)
Well, thanks again for the treat but the best treat for me would be for you to give your heart to Jesus.
We are now Christ's ambassadors, as though God were appealing direct to you through us. As his personal representative we say, "Make your peace with God." For God caused Christ, who himself knew nothing of sin, actually to be sin for our sakes, so that in Christ we might be made good with the goodness of God. (II Corinthians 5:20,21)
