What Does God Want of You? (#87)

What does God want of you?

He wants you to know Him, accept His love, and love Him in return.
He wants you to see how people of the world,including you, have turned away from Him and how together we have ignored Him and lived selfish lives.
He wants you to know that He provided a solution to our hopeless lives. His only Son Jesus entered our world, suffered, and died to make us right with God. God raised Him from the grave and Jesus is now in heaven.
He wants you to know that someday Jesus is coming back, not as a servant, but with power and judgment.
He wants you to follow Jesus now, so that your life today begins to make some sense, and when you die you will be with Him forever.
If youare ready to believe, talk to Jesus. He is waiting to hear your prayer:

Lord Jesus, I repent of my sinful life. I believe that You came and died to make me right with God. I want to make You Lord of my life. Please come into my heart. Amen.

This is the beginning of a new life for you.

Jesus will transform you, but you must cooperate and allow Him to work in your life.
Get a Bible and read it. Start with the Gospel of John, then read the Gospel of mark and the Acts. See what Jesus taught and did, and read His instructions for how to live.
Talk to Him regularly about what is going on in your life.
Find others who believe and follow Jesus. Tell them that you are a new believer and ask to go to church with them.
