Do you ever get scared?

I’ll tell you a secret. Grownups get scared too.

What scares grownups is the evil in the world.

As a kid or as a grown-up there is really only one sure way to get help when you’re scared. That’s to be friends with Jesus. He is like a knight. He protects us from evil. He walks with us through bad times.

Jesus is God’s only Son who left heaven to rescue us.
The Bible says: For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
Jesus loves us so much He gave His life on the cross for us.

Jesus wants to be your friend. He cares very much about who you are and what you do.
Jesus wants to save you from the evil that others do to you and that you do to others.

You can start being His friend right now! You can talk to Jesus anytime about anything.

Ask Him into your heart and get to know Him by reading the Bible and praying to Him.

When you become friends with Jesus, then you have all the help you need when you’re scared. Because nothing is bigger or stronger than Jesus’ love for you.
