You Are Loved (#294)
Bible version used: NKJV
Jesus’ announcement is still valid. He says to you:
I love you. I care about you.
I had a design and purpose for your life before you were ever born–and my
plans for you extend beyond this world into eternity.
Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling . . . according to His
own purpose . . . . 2 Timothy 1:9
I want to be in your life–every ordinary part of it. I want to turn your
world upside-right. I have come that they may have life, and that they may
have it more abundantly. John 10:10
I want to forgive your sins. You can count on my sacrifice to absolutely
clear your past. . . . the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from
all sin. 1 John 1:7
I want you to join me in caring for others in your life--especially those
who suffer.
The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed;
To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD. Luke 4:18-19
I want our relationship to continue after you die. I am making a place for
you, and I have things for you to do that you cannot begin to imagine. In
My Father’s house are many mansions; . . . I go to prepare a place for
you. John 14:2 Eye has not seen, nor ear heard . . . the things which God
has prepared for those who love Him. 1 Corinthians 2:9
If you want to enter into this relationship with me you need to trust me
completely. Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through Me.” John 14:6
In me you will have safety. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness,
or peril, or sword? . . . For I am persuaded that neither death nor life,
nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to
come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to
separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans
8:35-39
In me you will have purpose. For I know the thoughts that I think toward
you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a
future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11
In me you will have peace. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to
you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be
troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27
In me you will have power. I can do all things through Christ who
strengthens me. Philippians 4:13
May I hear from you? Will you trust me? Can we get started on this
relationship today? Will you give up your self-absorbed life and come to
me? Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and
opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
Revelation 3:20
