Tract Text:

There is a story in Mark 5 about a woman who was bleeding for 12 years. No one was able to help her. (v26) “She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse.” She was sick, broke and out of options.

Then she heard about Jesus. He was in her town. And the word on the street was that Jesus was a healer.

(v28) “If I can just touch his clothing, I can be healed.” she thinks. No embrace, no special prayers, not even a ‘Lord heal me!’ -- just reach out and touch his garment.

The crush of people around Jesus was huge. She crawled and pushed through the crowd and touched the hem of his robe. Immediately the bleeding stopped. Life returned. Hope returned.

Then Jesus confronted her: “Who touched me?” he asked. The disciples were incredulous—everyone was touching Jesus. But Jesus persisted, and the woman, afraid, fell at his feet and admitted it was she. She told him the truth.

Jesus responded: (v34) “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.”

Do you need to touch Jesus? Do you want to connect with his power? Jesus said in John 8:12: “Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.” This is a personal invitation unlike anything the world offers you. Jesus is offering to remake your heart. And you can trust him.

The invitation still stands. It is personal. You can put your name in place of ‘Whoever’. When YOU follow Jesus, you will never walk in darkness . . . You can trust him.

If you are ready to accept this invitation, here is a prayer: Jesus, I am ready to trust you with my life. Forgive my past. Help me to follow you.

No one but Jesus knows where this will lead you. But you can trust him.

You need to get to know Jesus. Seek him with all your heart and talk with him about everything in your life. Read the Gospel of Mark. Find someone else who follows Jesus -- visit a church that teaches the Bible. You can trust him.

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1
