You Must Choose (#308)

#308 YOU MUST CHOOSE
Are you ready to vote? Confused about the issues? Can you believe the politicians and what they say they will do?
There is one choice that you need to make—if you haven’t already. Sooner or later you need to make a choice about Jesus. Everyone must decide whether Jesus is who he said he was.
IF he is who he said he was, he is the only way to get right with God.
IF he is who he said he was, he gave his life to fix things between you and God.
IF he is who he said he was, he rose from the grave to guarantee that your grave becomes a passage to eternal life with him.
IF he is who he said he was, he has a life-changing relationship for you—starting now.
IF he is who he said he was, then he left the decision up to you.
IF he is who he said he was, then putting off the decision is both dangerous and foolhardy.
Two billion people have taken an honest and critical look at the facts and concluded that Jesus is indeed who he said he was.
If you are having trouble deciding about Jesus, why don’t you take a look at the facts as they are laid out in the Bible. Read the Gospel of Mark and visit a Bible study group in a local church. Contrary to what you may see on TV, the people in your local church are not a bunch of hypocrites. You will find that they are serious about knowing Jesus and following him. They welcome fellow seekers.
What about you? Sooner or later you must choose. When it comes to your decision about Jesus, no one knows when the polls are going to close.
Jesus has the last word on your decision. In the Gospel of John he said: “I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am the one I claim to be, you will indeed die in your sins.” John 8:24
How you decide determines your eternal destiny.
